Job Description This position is responsible for the marketing and commercial development functions within the Lunar team consistent with corporate objectives to develop commercialize and launch liquid biopsy products in early stage cancers. The position will be responsible for the development, execution and oversight of all marketing and commercial development strategies, launch, and executional plans related to the Lunar program. In addition, this colleague will be responsible for building a marketing team as well as policies, programs and systems to support strategic direction and aligning international business plans with organizational objectives. Vice President of Marking and commercial development partners with management team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to company customers. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop annual strategic marketing plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.Contribute to the development of the program lifecycle strategies and plan.Oversee and direct the development of market research plans, landscape and competitor analyses in support of the strategic plan.Direct implementation and execution of marketing plans.Ensure marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements.Develop pricing and reimbursement strategies to support broad access of the product line.Provide leadership in the development of alliances, affiliations and partnership arrangements.Provide leadership and support for the design, development and implementation of products and service lines.Build, develop and manage marketing and customer service team capable of carrying out needed marketing and service strategies.Manage marketing services department, including development and distribution of all marketing collateral.Maintains marketing staff job results by counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.Responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the quality management system and ensuring the integrity of the system is maintained when changes are implemented.Responsible for establishing and monitoring the appropriateness of the quality policy, ensuring the quality policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization and that the quality objectives are fulfilled.Responsible for ensuring customer requirements are determined and met.Responsible for identifying and providing adequate resources and training to ensure effective work performance which includes meeting regulatory, statutory and customer requirements while also supporting and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.Participates in formal reviews of the quality management system in planned Management Review meetings (at a minimum annually), to ensure that the quality management system (QMS) continues to remain suitable and effective.Qualifications Bachelor s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.12+ years of experience in marketing and commercial development functions including track record of product launch experience in diagnostic or pharmaceuticals.Experience in marketing management within an IVD manufacturing environment preferred.
