Purpose of Position
This position is responsible for working closely with fleet customers, distributors, and internal teams/business partners throughout the sales process in a defined geographical territory to meet/exceed assigned sales targets. The Commercial Account Manager will have a direct impact on growing the business through fostering successful relationships and endearing fleet customers to our business.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Meet/exceed assigned sales targets for designated territory/accounts
+ Network and negotiate with potential clients about their orders, generating revenue for the company
+ Handle any inquiries produced by the customer or Distributor, investigate the issue and provide the necessary feedback
+ Identify and work with engineering firms, clients and government municipalities to educate and specify Gasboy's fleet fuel management solutions
+ Attend sales meetings, conferences and events
+ Manage the territory through inputting all sales related data into salesforce.com, including scheduling, logging sales calls, and managing assigned accounts by reporting key activities/updates and sales forecasts
+ Maintain an active funnel of opportunities on assigned product lines
+ Handle clients in a professional manner
+ Process fleet customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring the clients approval
+ Keep up to date with product developments
+ Devise new sales or marketing strategies
+ Work closely with Distributors to assist in sales training and presentations with larger clients
+ Work with other departments within the organization
+ Keep normal office hours and travel to client locations when needed
+ Schedule appointments, calls, and meetings with clientele regularly
+ Provide direct sales and Distributor forecasts on a monthly basis
+ Report weekly with a sales summary to the Director of Sales
Background, Skill and Personality Trait Profile
+ BA/BS required
+ >5 yrs experience in solution selling
