Our growing IVD portfolio will help ILMN fully participate in regulated markets requiring registration of clinical products. ILMN is a key leader in bringing genomics to the clinic and therefore have to continuously analyze our business and bring new products through the registration pathway. In this position, the Product Manager will analyze business opportunity and drive internal planning for product registration.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Working with regional commercial teams drive prioritization and scoping of products to take through registration
  • Lead cross functional product planning workstream and drive planning and scoping of new projects from marketing perspective
  • Drive market opportunity assessments and work with regional commercial teams on forecasting and scenario planning
  • Collaborate across the Illumina organization and drive prioritization of projects and product readiness
  • Assess current customers and segments and recommend transition strategies and plans with the implementation of new regulation
  • Serve as primary marketing lead on project proposals prior to core team creation
  • Understand competitive landscape, market drivers and trends likely to influence adoption within each segment
  • Collect and analyze market opportunity, revenue, and market share estimates for key products targeted for registration path
  • Collaborate with Illuminas broader product management and marketing teams to assess business opportunity
  • Requirements:

  • BA/BS or MS degree in Life Sciences, MBA a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in molecular diagnostics marketing or a related area
  • Experience in marketing and demonstrated analytical, data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent listening, self-motivation, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
