You will play a vital role at our Clinical and Translational Research Center, an outpatient facility that serves the needs of clinical researchers within the UCLA Health System. Patients on Phase 1, 2 and 3 clinical trials at the Center receive treatment, including investigational infusions and pharmacokinetic blood draws. You will work closely with principle investigators and coordinators to ensure accurate and ethical clinical research care. This involves implementing standardized procedures as well as modifying treatment regimens based on observed signs and symptoms, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition. You will provide and coordinate care for clinical research patients, deliver patient/family education and promote safe continuity of care. We are also looking to you to participate in bedside care as a registered nurse. Qualifications We're seeking a self-directed nursing professional with: Current California RN and NP licensure National certification (e.g., ANCC) Master's degree in a related clinical field or a graduate degree in nursing Previous RN experience 1-2 years nurse practitioner and clinical research experience preferred Computer proficiency with MS Office and related programs Ability to collaborate closely with administrative, clinical and academic personnel Strong communication, organization and prioritizing skills UCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles.
